Reality star and model Nicole Murphy is opening up about her split from Michael Strahan for the first time.
Just a week after Strahan's rep confirmed that the couple had called off their five-year engagement, Murphy told TMZ that “it’s all good” between her and the "Live! With Kelly and Michael" co-host, and that they’ll “always be friends."
And though the VH1's "Hollywood Exes" star was sure to stress that there were no hard feelings, she kept quiet when the cameraman pressed her for comment on tabloid reports that she'd pulled the plug on the relationship over suspicions that Strahan had been unfaithful.
Earlier this week, sources close to the couple told People that it was distance that drove them apart -- and that both Strahan, 42, and Murphy, 46, may already be seeing other people.
"They've been having problems for two years and have been off and on throughout," the source said. "Him dating someone would come as no surprise to Nicole."
The pair, who have nine children between them -- four from Strahan's previous marriages and five from Murphy's -- first started dating in 2007. Murphy was previously married to actor Eddie Murphy, while Strahan divorced second wife Jean Muggli in 2006.
