Michael Strahan Says He Hasn't Missed 'Live' At All Since He Left

Make it stop.

Even after Michael Strahan's abrupt exit from "Live with Kelly and Michael" we're still talking about the former NFL player's drama with Kelly Ripa.

On an upcoming episode of Chelsea Handler's Netflix talk show, Strahan opens up about his time away from the morning show, saying he hasn't watched it since he left.

"I really haven't missed it," the 44-year-old said via the Associated Press. "But I loved it. Don't get me wrong. I loved it. When you get a break, sometimes you kind of go, 'Wow, I kind of needed it.' I needed a break."

Strahan exited "Live" on Friday, May 13, (no eerie coincidence there) after blindsiding Ripa with the news of his departure. The initial announcement didn't go over too well, as Ripa then refused to show up to the show over the next few days.

Once she returned to co-host, Ripa dished out dig after hilarious dig, bringing up contract negotiations and Strahan's two divorces, and wearing a jacket that said "Freedom" on her way to work.

"I think that all people are deserving of fair treatment in the workplace. People deserve respect," Ripa said in an interview with People magazine, after the initial drama had gone down. "People should be treated equally and with dignity."

We can't wait to see who Ripa chooses as her next co-host (cough, Anderson Cooper, cough).
