Rep. Michelle Bachmann (R-Minn.) declared that she ran a presidential campaign that was "almost mistake free" in an interview with Christian Broadcasting Network released Thursday.
"You ran pretty much an impeccable campaign, in terms of a mistake-free campaign," said CBN host David Brody.
"Thank you, it really was," responded Bachmann.
"It pretty much was."
"It really was, we were extremely careful, and we were almost mistake free, but for those two points, Elvis Presley’s birthday and John Wayne’s birthplace. I’ve apologized, and we moved beyond," she said.

Bachmann's gaffes and missteps extended beyond the two she mentioned. She repeated a claim without medical evidence that the HPV vaccine caused retardation. She told a New Hampshire crowd that they were in the state where the Revolutionary War began in Lexington and Concord, which are in fact in Massachusetts. During a debate, she said, "Now with the president, he put us in Libya. He is now putting us in Africa," which is in fact in Africa.
The Minnesota congresswoman endorsed presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney Thursday. In December, she said that he couldn't "beat Obama" because of the Massachusetts health care law he signed.
