Michelle Branch and her husband of 11 years, Teddy Landau, have finally made their separation official.

The 31-year-old "All You Wanted" and "Goodbye To You" singer filed for divorce on Feb. 9, according to E! Online, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple initially announced their separation in January 2014, and Branch is reportedly asking for joint custody of their 9-year-old daughter, Owen Isabelle.

Branch and Landau, her former bassist, tied the knot in Mexico in 2004. In a 2006 interview with People Magazine, Branch admitted their relationship wasn't always smooth sailing.

"My relationship had a very rocky start. My parents hated the idea -- and now love him, of course. My dad never wanted me to be with a musician," Branch said of Landau, who at 50 is 19 years her senior. "I mean, how unrealistic is that? I'm not going to fall for an accountant!"

According to US Magazine, Branch has been dating dating Dead Sara bassist Chris Null.
