First Lady Michelle Obama cruised through Las Vegas today, and we were hoping for some amazing photos of Mrs. O spinning a roulette wheel, playing a few hands of poker and taking in a cabaret show.
But alas, those dreams will have to remain ours, as FLOTUS' only stop in Sin City was the Springs Preserve, where she stumped for her husband's 2012 campaign, telling the crowd:
I have told my story time and time again: My father was a blue-collar city worker who worked for the city water plant his entire life, and my family lived in a little-bitty apartment on the South Side of Chicago. And neither of my parents had the chance to go to college, but like so many parents in their position, what they were able to do was probably even more important -- they saved; they sacrificed; they put everything they had into me and my brother so that we could get the kind of education they only dreamed of.
Mrs. Obama hasn't stopped working hard, as she's clearly been working out more than just her mind. While FLOTUS' black shirt (or dress? We can't see what she's wearing behind that podium!) paled in comparison to her boldly patterned Naeem Khan White House Correspondents' Dinner dress, it definitely showed off her best assets: her arms.
So behold, a little late day tribute to Michelle Obama's famous guns. Do any other late night talk show hosts want to challenge this lady to a pushup-off? We suspect Conan's shaking in his boots.
