Michelle Obama Gets Back Into Maria Pinto For The 2012 Campaign (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Is FLOTUS Breaking Out Her Campaign Trail Wardrobe?

It's déjà vu all over again.

As President Obama kicked off his 2012 re-election campaign with a fiery speech to Congress last night, First Lady Michelle Obama also got back into the campaign spirit -- with that iconic purple Maria Pinto dress.

FLOTUS repeated the bold-colored sheath that she wore the night of final primaries in June 2008, the night then-Senator Obama clinched the Democratic presidential nomination over Hillary Clinton.

Barack greeted supporters from stage in St. Paul, Minnesota and, in a moment that would be talked about for days after, gave his Maria Pinto-clad wife an exuberant fist bump.

If President Obama is hoping to repeat such a victorious moment, he's certainly got his wife's support! The First Lady wore nearly the identical outfit from that 2008 night to attend last night's Congressional session. The dress by Maria Pinto (who unfortunately went out of business last year) reappeared, as did another wide black belt cinching FLOTUS's waist.

Does this mean Michelle is putting on her game face by breaking out her campaign trail wardrobe? Will we be seeing some Narciso Rodriguez in the coming months? Some J. Crew? Perhaps a frock or two by Isabel Toledo?

Stay tuned for FLOTUS's return to campaign-trail dressing -- and check out her wardrobe repeat (and the original) below!
