Michelle Obama Wears The Row By Ashley & Mary-Kate Olsen (PHOTOS, POLL)

Michelle Obama recently added some new, but familiar names to her wardrobe.

One Ashley Olsen previously gushed to Harper's Bazaar that she'd "love to get" the first lady in one of her designs for clothing line The Row ("It's all made in America, so why not?"), and, as it turns out, FLOTUS donned an Olsen-created skirt on "The View" last week.

She paired the pricey, pleated Evelyn skirt with a cream-colored sweater and green turquoise earrings by Lucifer Vir Honestus.

Incidentally, Ashley and sister Mary-Kate just sat down with Newsweek to talk about their success in the fashion biz. An excerpt:

Retailers did grill them: Where were the clothes made? Why were they so damn expensive? "With the retailers, we dealt with some tough cookies," Ashley says. "Their attitude was, 'Who do these girls think they are?'"

"It definitely took time to earn people's respect," Mary-Kate says.

But, remarked Julie Gilhart, the former fashion director of Barneys New York, "What they do has become successful, and everyone needs to give them that. They really concentrated on product, not fashion so much. Their pieces fit into the trends yet weren't trendy."

Take a look and tell us what you think of Michelle Obama in The Row.
