No. 3 seed Michigan State will face No. 14 Valparaiso in the second round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament in the Midwest region.

Tom Izzo's Spartans are playing in their 16th straight NCAA Tournament. They have made it to the Sweet 16 in four out of the last five years.

The winner in this matchup in Auburn Hills on March 21 will face the winner of No. 6 Memphis and the winner of Middle Tennessee/Saint Mary's in the play-in game for the No. 11 seed.
