Mike Milbury: Alex Ovechkin 'Should Be Ashamed Of Himself' (VIDEO)

NBC Sports broadcaster Mike Milbury went on a long rant on Wednesday night, ripping Capitals star Alex Ovechkin during Washington's game against Philadelphia.

During the second intermission, Milbury found ample time to criticize the Russian sniper's performance, calling out the winger for a perceived lack of effort and "disgusting" play. He also demanded that Ovechkin "start acting like a man."

"This is an awful display of hockey by Alex Ovechkin. He should be ashamed of himself. A blind pass. Eight-year-olds don't even do this in the offensive zone!" said Milbury while referring to some miscues he noticed during the first two periods. "Are you kidding me? This is a guy who makes a ton of money. He owes it to his owner. He owes it to his coach."

It didn't get much better for Ovechkin and the Caps in the third period as they went on to lose, 4-1.

Ovechkin has scored three goals in his last six contests, but has struggled offensively with just eight goals on the season.
