Miley Cyrus' 'BANGERZ' Album Announced As Singer's Next Project

Miley's BIG Announcement

Miley Cyrus has finally announced the name of her upcoming album. The 20-year-old singer has been hyping the forthcoming release of her latest studio album for months, ultimately publicizing on Tuesday afternoon that the project will be called "BANGERZ"

Cyrus was waiting until she hit 13,000,000 Twitter followers to release the name of the album, counting down to the total in recent days. Born Destiny Hope Cyrus, the singer rose to fame with her Disney Channel show, "Hannah Montana." Cyrus has worked to reinvent herself in the years since the show wrapped, projecting an edgier image as of late.

In June, Cyrus debuted "We Can't Stop," the lead single off "BANGERZ." The track made waves with its controversial lyrics alluding to drug usage and the accompanying music video which shows a scantily clad Cyrus twerking and writhing around on a bed.

"BANGERZ" is expected to hit stores later this year.
