Miley Cyrus surprised the crowd at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday night by performing with rock icon Billy Idol.
Cyrus, decked out in her best Idol-inspired ensemble, joined the rocker on stage to sing his 1983 hit “Rebel Yell.” As she walked on, she said to the crowd, “singing with Billy f**king Idol, let’s do it!” And just like that, the duo went into the performance, definitely giving the crowd more, more, more.
The former Disney star expressed her excitement about singing with Idol on Instagram.
Idol re-posted one of Cyrus’ photos, writing, “I had a great time tonite on stage with @mileycyrus here with Miley post performance.”
The iHeartRadio performance is just the latest appearance for Cyrus, who’s been on what seems like a whirlwind publicity tour. The singer, actor and new coach on “The Voice” has been making appearances on talk show after talk show (plus a magazine cover) to promote the NBC singing competition ― as well as the Woody Allen Amazon series, “Crisis in Six Scenes,” in which she stars.
Still no red carpets, though.
