If Hilary Duff having a baby didn't make you feel old, then this will: Miley Cyrus is engaged to boyfriend Liam Hemsworth!
After previously denying engagement rumors (and wearing all sorts of other rings on that left hand), 19-year-old Miley confirmed to People: "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam."
The pair, who began dating in 2009 after co-starring in "The Last Song," were engaged on May 31, 11 days after Miley caught our eye in a rather grown-up look: that mini Jean Paul Gaultier blazer with a plunging neckline and no bottoms to speak of, worn at the Billboard Music Awards.
The ensemble was notable, of course, for its sexy lengths (or lack thereof), but also for what it signalled: Miley has been dressing like a grown-up, choosing more elegant and sexier styles for about a year. We nodded approvingly at her tasteful David Koma frock at the People's Choice Awards and we actually liked her crocheted skirt-and-blouse combo the other day. Then there are the tattoos, that eternal emblem of adulthood (or an attempt at one) that keep popping up on Miley's bod.
As the former Disney Channel star approaches her 20th birthday this fall, perhaps she's decided to finally ditch her teeny-bopper style -- and add some bling to her typical accessories routine.
