Miley Cyrus has ordered more protection from the stalker who was arrested for trespassing on her property on Sept. 8. TMZ reports that the 19-year-old star successfully obtained a temporary restraining order on Oct. 30 against Jason Luis Rivera, who attempted to enter Cyrus' home in Los Angeles with a pair of scissors. The singer also requested to make the restraining order permanent.

Rivera was convicted of misdemeanor trespassing and was sentenced to 18 months jail after refusing a probation offer. According to the police, Rivera had repeatedly thrown himself against an outside barrier to Cyrus' home. He also claimed to be friends with the singer. “I am friends with Miley Cyrus….She’s my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years," Rivera reportedly told authorities when he was arrested.
