Fredrik Eklund, one of the stars of "Million Dollar Listing New York" is selling his apartment. According to Realtor.com, Eklund purchased his New York City condo in November 2012 for $1.65 million and has put it on the market for $3.25 million. We weren't great at math in school, but we'll try to help you out here: That's almost a 200 percent appreciation over the period of six months.
According to Curbed, another apartment in the building sold recently for $3 million. The condo in question was a three-bedroom space, which might justify such a high price.
OK, so we understand that Eklund is a fancy-schmancy celebrity. But does the fact that a star has lived in a space warrant that kind of appreciation? Granted, the TV-personality-slash-real-estate-broker has made some serious improvements: The two-bedroom condo features beamed 11-foot ceilings, new windows, a renovated kitchen and sparkling new bathrooms.
Moreover, the space is pretty generous for New York City -- at 2,400 square feet you could basically host a Yankees game up in there. The white walls, abundant windows (there are 14 in total) and stunning decor only add to the space's allure. We're guessing that interior design star Eric Cohler is responsible for touches like meticulously stacked art tomes, fur blankets and that intimidating horse statuette on the coffee table.
Despite that hefty price tag, we are unclear as to whether or not the little dog comes with the apartment.
Check out the before and after photos and tell us, is the price worth it?
Eklund isn't the only celebrity with a gorgeous home:
