The Mindful Leadership Experience workshop at the WEF in Davos received an incredibly warm welcome as the room filled to capacity. The participants were leaders from around the world and represented many age groups, ethnic groups and backgrounds. Yet, as has been true with every group of influencers I have worked with in the past seven years, it soon became apparent that the challenges and opportunities of leading with excellence were shared by all.

I was privileged to be co-presenting with Mark Williams, a neuropsychologist from Oxford. Together we shared the introductory elements of mindful leadership training and some of the latest findings on the neuroscience of mindfulness.

As with many workshops at Davos, perhaps a few seeds were planted. Time will tell if the training that combines mindfulness with the hallmarks of leadership excellence will become a foundational leadership training.

Imagine the possibilities!!!
