OK, so that probably wasn't exactly what she was going for, but Miranda Lambert was a vision in white at the Artist's Dinner at the Kennedy Center Honors on Saturday. The country singer stepped out in a floor-length gown with a cleavage-baring bodice accentuated with a sheer band and tiny square accents.
Va-va-voom.
Lambert, who separated from her country star husband, Blake Shelton, in July, recently covered Cosmopolitan's January issue and reflected on the end of her relationship.
"Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try," she told the magazine, adding that she has no plans on dating in the near future.
"I had a great relationship with an amazing man," she said, "so I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted."
As for moving on? Lambert's looking forward to this new phase of her life, but it's not always as easy as it seems. "Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, 'Man, this sucks right now,'" she said.
