Miranda Lambert Walks Away From A Car Crash Unscathed In 'Vice' Video

Is this a metaphor for her life post-divorce?

Miranda Lambert just released the video for her new single, “Vice,” which also happens to be her first song since her split from fellow country singer, Blake Shelton.

The video starts off with a shot of a flipped car, windows shattered and smoke pouring out around it. Then, we see Lambert inside, facedown in the wreckage ― “a metaphor for her messy personal life,” Rolling Stone suggests.

Despite the accident looking like a complete disaster, Lambert manages to wake up in an instant, drag herself out of the window and walk away unscathed. Like, she doesn’t even have a single scratch on her and her shimmery eye shadow isn’t the least bit smudged.

The 32-year-old walks to the nearest town to drink away the pain and eventually finds the strength to move on. All the while lyrics like, “Another vice, another call / Another bed I shouldn’t crawl out of” and “If you need me / I’ll be where my reputation don’t precede me,” play over the visuals.
