'Mirrors' Video: Justin Timberlake And Friends Go Through The Looking Glass

WATCH: Justin Timberlake's Personal New Video

Justin Timberlake's "Mirrors" video was released late Tuesday, and it's a marked departure from the visuals the singer produced for "Suit & Tie."

In the new video, a couple is seen over multiple generations. The young couple experiences loss and pain (cue: smeared eyeliner), while the older couple dancers and happens upon a somewhat creepy funhouse (a human photobooth spits out a film strip!).

It turns out the couple in question is actually Timberlake's grandparents. The video opens with a dedication to William and Sadie. William, Timberlake's grandfather, passed away late last year. "Mirrors" is refashioned as a retelling of their love story.

Floria Sigismondi, who directed "The Runaways" (starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning), helmed the visuals.

Take a look above and let us know what you think in the comments. Timberlake is on a bit of a hot streak. "The 20/20 Experience" was released on Tuesday, a day after the singer confirmed rumors that there is a follow-up album already recorded. He's also said to be in the running for the role of Daddy Warbux in the upcoming remake of "Annie."
