Male Housekeeper Named 'Miss Puppy' Pleads Guilty To Murders

A male housekeeper who calls himself "Ms. Puppy" pleaded guilty to murdering two men in their Denver home in 2011.

Daryl Rasmussen, aka Ms. Puppy, was sentenced to 30 years in prison this morning for the murders of Ronald Ford, 63, and 56-year-old Ramiro Sanchez, according to 9-News. He pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree murder, and 13 other charges -- including first-degree murder -- were dismissed by the Denver district attorney.

Rasmussen was indicted in December after he killed Sanchez and his partner Ford in Jan. 2011, then stole their car and fled the state, CBS reports. Federal authorities found the victims' bodies a week apart in February of that year. Both of them died from blunt force trauma to the head, the Denver Post reports.

The killer, said to be a cross-dresser who regularly went by Ms. Puppy, was arrested in Palm Springs, Calif. six moths after he fled Denver. A former Denver resident reportedly turned him in after overhearing Rasmussen call himself Ms. Puppy in a bar.
