Did you make a mistake? No problem. No surprise. Everyone makes mistakes.

Admit it. Correct it with God's assistance and forgiveness. Learn from it. Mistake gone. No problem.

Problems arise when we cling tight to OUR way, not God's way, or fail to exercise our empathy or understanding of others' feelings or needs. Our ego gets in the way, because we are used to protecting our pride or false image. We often think we're threatened or in danger if we open up and admit we're not perfect.

Emerson wrote:

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."

Just love God, and ask for forgiveness for your mistakes. Then let peace envelope and embrace you.
