'Mockingjay' Beats Out 'Creed' & 'The Good Dinosaur' to Top Thanksgiving Weekend Box Office!

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 continued its box office reign, winning out the Thanksgiving holiday weekend with an additional $75.8 million!

According to THR, the final installment, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson, is still a little behind pace of the previous film, but has grossed $440.7 million so far!

Coming in at No. 2 was the Pixar/Disney release of The Good Dinosaur, which earned a solid $56 million in its first weekend.

Taking the third spot was Michael B. Jordan‘s new Rocky remake, Creed, which debuted to an impressive $42.6 million.

Rounding out the top five were Spectre and The Peanuts Movie, which earned $12.8 million and $9.7 million, respectively.

Meanwhile, Daniel Radliffe and James McAvoy‘s new flick Victor Frankenstein placed No. 12 with a five-day gross of $3.4 million

The Danish Girl, starring Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander, opened to $181,000 from four theaters in New York and Los Angeles, for a location average of $45,221.

Brooklyn expanded nationwide over Thanksgiving and earned $4.9 million from 845 theaters.
