Ellen DeGeneres has already pranked the "Modern Family" star during three previous appearances on her show, but this time the actor came prepared with his two best friends to watch out for any funny business. The only problem is that it didn't work.

In fact, DeGeneres' latest scare was so good that it almost left Stonestreet in tears. (Whenever a guest vows never to return to your show, you know you're doing something right.)
