Molasses cookies may beckon a nostalgic feeling, but they will never go out of style. There's something about the sweet flavor of molasses that can't be satisfied with mild-mannered honey or the neutral flavors of sugar. Even after the events of the 1919 molasses flood in Boston, people still need to get their molasses cookie fix.
Even though molasses cookies did not hold up in our holiday cookie deathmatch (eliminated in the second round), we'll never say no to a molasses cookie. And we know we're not alone.
