PHOTOS: Monochromatic Houses Are A Thing, Apparently

We love color... but a monochromatic palette can sometimes put a cool, sophisticated twist on a space. Although, we've never seen one single hue used quite like this before. Redditor jesbaker uploaded a photo of a house painted top to bottom -- we're talking siding, roof, trim and windows -- in black.

According to Curbed, this was a 2008 transformation by artists Erik Storm and Simon Young in Möhringen, Germany. Unfortunately, this anomaly has since been turned into a rather typical looking modern gallery.

But they weren't the only visionaries who preferred their home in one color. Along the same lines, jesbaker also found this cool house clad all in red:
