Anybody with a GoPro can make a surf film these days, but the latest piece from Los Angeles-based surf, fashion and lifestyle photographer Morgan Maassen is 20,000 leagues better than most.

Titled “Water,” the four-and-a-half-minute short was filmed in Hawaii and Tahiti and features surfers Frankie Harrer, Kanoa Igarashi, Miguel Pupo, Johnny Gannon and Damien Hobgood, all set to a dreamy song by SJD. Maassen, a 24-year-old freelance photographer, boasts a client list that includes Apple, Audi, Nike, prAna, Billabong, Wilson, Corona, Quiksilver, Red Bull and Delta Airlines.

"I spend almost every day of the month on the road, by design. I love traveling and am always trying to visit somewhere new or capture something intriguing,” he told The Huffington Post.

Maassen calls the video a "passion piece" about water. "I've grown up in and around the ocean, so I set out with the intention for "Water" to capture both my curiosity and love for the sea. The textures, colors, light and movement of these scenes are so fascinating to me, and I wanted to capture and appreciate it on film.”

As more science shows that looking at water, being around it or swimming in it relaxes our brains, we're feeling pretty good just by watching this video from our desks.
