We know, a trip to San Francisco is always busy. There's so many places to eat -- you've gotta have your Tartine morning bun! Next you need to make sure you hit up the shops in Hayes Valley, see the street art in the mission, enjoy your guilty pleasure of chowder in a bread bowl from Fisherman's Wharf and most importantly, take an Instagram-worthy shot of the Golden Gate. We couldn't agree more! Mt. Davidson

Mt. Davidson is the tallest peak in San Francisco. This 1-mile forested hike makes you feel like you've left the city until you reach the top. Once at the top, you'll be amazed by the stunning views of downtown San Francisco, Oakland, and Mt. Sutro.

Marshall's Beach

Make sure your camera, phone, and GoPro are charged. This short hike along the Batteries to Bluffs trail puts you in the perfect position for your Golden Gate bridge shot. Inside tip: head there just in time for the sunset.

Land's End

Although this trail can be a little busy on the weekends. If you get an early start, you can avoid the crowds as you head along rugged coastline to the Land's End Labyrinth, a rock maze overlooking the Golden Gate. From here, head out to the end of the trail to see the Sutro Baths and mile rock beach.

The Wood Line

Head out on this two mile hike through the Presidio to Andy Goldsworthy's Wood Line. Also make a stop off at Inspiration Point and enjoy stunning views of the Marina District, the San Francisco Bay, and Alcatraz.

Mt. Sutro Open Space Reserve

Many locals don't even know that Mt. Sutro exists. This less than 2-mile loop takes you through a tall forests on dirt paths giving you a real nature escape from the city. If you've arrived to San Francisco's foggy weather, hike Mt. Sutro to take a really majestic experience as the trees disappear into the fog.
