Reddit user yessykeena wasn't exaggerating when she posted this photo with the caption, "'Like mother, like daughter' taken a little too literally."
Yessykeena recreated the photo on the left of her mother holding her firstborn son (and Yessykeena's older brother) 41 years ago to capture just how much she looks like her mother.
"Everyone I met thought it was me holding my little brother so wanted to see the conparison for myself," the 26-year-old wrote on Reddit of the original photo.
So who is the wee man Yessykeena is holding in the photo on the right? Her own firstborn son!
"He's the spitting image of me too!" Yessykeena wrote with pride. "I'm taking over this gene pool."
We have to agree with Reddit user SpecificAffliction: "This is one of the cutest things I've seen in a while. I love it. Your mom's genes must wear the pants in your family."
Yessykeena isn't the only person who has shared photos showing a strong family resemblance online. Jessica Alba posted a photo of her grandmother where it's clear where the beauty got her looks from, and another Reddit user shared a photo contrasting how she and her grandmother looked at age 20.
CORRECTION: An earlier version of this entry said the mother was holding the Reddit submitter's younger brother. It is actually an older brother.
