In fact, these researchers found that sitting for fewer than three hours a day can add up to two years to your lifespan.
For many people, the big obstacle is work. Anyone with a desk job knows all too well how tricky it can be to tear yourself away. And people in a number of other professions -- like truck and bus drivers, for example -- really have no alternative.
