Mr. Clean did need a bit of a makeover -- he always had a bit of a "Right Said Fred" look that was about two paces behind the times. But did he have to go in a "Yul Brynner meets Polar Express" direction? We can all agree that this style of animation, when applied to human characters, is unsettling.
Especially when it's a child. A child version of Mr. Clean.
Thanks to the helpful Redditors who pointed it out, I can't get this image out of my head. It'll haunt my dreams forever.
