Here's The 'Mr. Robot' Scene That Prompted USA To Postpone The Season Finale

It seems like the network made the right call.

On Wednesday night, USA aired the Season 1 finale of "Mr. Robot" after postponing the episode a week earlier following the deaths of two WDBJ journalists who were shot and killed on air.

Below is the graphic scene that prompted network executives to make the smart and sensitive decision out of respect to the victims and their families to postpone the episode.

WARNING: While the scene does not mirror the events of Aug. 26 directly, it does feature a very graphic and disturbing on-camera shooting.

The scene featured an E Corp executive shooting himself during a live interview, and regardless of who is doing the shooting in the scene, it feels as though the network likely made the right call in delaying the finale's airdate.

It was a small gesture on the network's part after reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, were killed by Vester Lee Flanagan, a former WDBJ reporter who went by “Bryce Williams" on the air. Flanagan died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds later on Aug. 26.
