MTV Launches Channel Full Of Your Fave Reruns

MTV Classic will air all your fave shows from the '90s and early 2000s.

Kristin Cavallari might be married, but we still believe that she’s somewhere in Chicago, shouting, “STEPHENNNN!” Pretty soon, you’ll be able to hear her distinctive whine on your TV set once again.

MTV announced Thursday that the network is bringing back its hit TV shows “Laguna Beach,” “Daria,” “Jackass,” “Cribs,” “Beavis & Butt-head” and more as part of its rebranding of VH1 Classic.

The channel, renamed MTV Classic, will start airing all of your favorite ‘90s and early 2000s shows beginning  Aug. 1. Shows like “TRL” (without the whole “live” factor) will air during the day, while marathons of “Laguna Beach” and “The Real World” will air over the weekend to ease your hangover with the soothing presence of Lauren Conrad and her clique.

It’s perhaps the greatest MTV news since the network announced it was reuniting the cast of “The Hills” for an Aug. 2 special.

“From ‘Beavis & Butt-head’ to ‘Laguna Beach,’ MTV’s programming vault is a music and pop-culture goldmine with universal resonance,” MTV President Sean Atkins said in a statement. “MTV Classic gives audiences a modern and artful home for classic MTV programming and — alongside MTV, MTV2, MTV Live and mtvU — rounds out a diverse portfolio with music and youth culture at its core.”

See you soon, LC.
