Muhammad Ali - Before They Were Dead

He was The Greatest. And he never let anyone forget it. Muhammad Ali died a champion. Not just a sports champ, but a people's champ. He overcame diversity, racial segregation, and courageously stood up for what he believed in on countless occasions.

Ali was an example for many, not just as a world champion boxer, but as a leader. His words were ones people lived by and the honesty with which he spoke could echo through any walk of life.

He lived an exemplary life, inspiring athletes and activists alike, and because of that his name will outlive even the sport that he competed in.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing." - Muhammad Ali
