The Muppets Get With The Times, Post Selfies On Instagram

Instagram Is Not Just For Humans Anymore

It looks like everyone and everything is on Instagram. Case in point: The Muppets (or Disney's marketing executives) have created an official account on the social network to promote the upcoming movie "Muppets Most Wanted." The Muppets may have been "born" in 1955, but when it comes to taking selfies, they act like teenagers.

Kermit, Miss Piggy and Gonzo christened the account with an off-center picture, proving that cameras are hard for everyone, not just humans.

Statler and Waldorf managed to center the camera, but didn't really have any idea what they were doing. "'This is the fanciest calculator we’ve ever seen!' [click]," reads their caption.

Dr. Bunsen Honeydew got up close and personal to the camera for a shot, which he labeled "#Selfies are scientifically proven to boost health and happiness!"

Kermit got a lesson in what happens when you leave your phone unattended, when his nephew Robin used it for a close-up shot. The pic is captioned, "Lesson for Uncle Kermit: Never leave your phone alone. #imROBINyourphone."
