As 2015 draws to a close, so does an epic year of travel: I journeyed to 22 countries on four continents over the span of 11.5 months!

And before you ask, I'll answer: yes, for about half the year I was on sabbatical from my job teaching high school English (which already gives me loads of days off), so I had the free time to gallivant across borders and hemispheres at my leisure.

As for how I afforded all this travel on a teacher's salary, I employed a number of money-saving techniques, lifestyle changes, and strategies that I've outlined here. It's also important to note that, as a healthy, able-bodied person with zero debt and no dependents, I am fortunate to be in a position to make travel a priority in the first place. I don't take this privilege for granted in the least.

So here is a video chronicling my jaunt around the world. I am blessed to have seen some amazing things; I am even more grateful to have shared these adventures with some amazing people.

No matter how much I've seen and experienced, the world's beauty continues to excite me and stoke the flames of my wanderlust, so I hope that this video inspires you to see more of it for yourself!
