You probably remember that he led the U.N. weapons inspection team in Iraq before the U.S.-led invasion. Blix had a lot to say about how we are dealing with Iran today.

I had a conversation with Hans Blix, who chairs the weapons of mass destruction commission.

The commission issued a report about how to reduce WMD around the globe.

You probably remember that he led the U.N. weapons inspection team in Iraq before the U.S.-led invasion.

Blix had a lot to say about how we are dealing with Iran today.

He compared our current tactics toward Iran to our approach toward North Korea, where we seem to be having some success. He said the tactics that worked with North Korea, convincing them to give up their nuclear weapons program, could work with Iran.

But we will never know unless we try.
