'My Crazy Obsession': TLC Orders New Infatuation Reality Show

TLC Tackles 'Crazy Obsessions'

TLC is extending its special "My Collection Obsession" with a new eight-part reality series called "My Crazy Obsession." The series will follow people who are extremely dedicated to various objects, people or lifestyles.

The original special from the fall of 2011 featured people obsessed with dolls, shoes, Dolly Parton and vacuum cleaners.

According to TLC, "My Crazy Obsession" kicks off with a couple who own more than 5,000 Cabbage Patch Kids dolls. The second subject is a woman obsessed with the color pink -- she has a pink TV and a pink dog.

The new series kicks off Wed., March 7 at 10 p.m. EST.

"My Crazy Obsession" is just the latest new reality show for TLC. The network recently announced "Preacher Wives," a behind the scenes look at the women who help run their congregations in Atlanta. "Preacher Wives" comes from the producers of "Real Housewives of Atlanta." The network is also at work on a reality show about Southwest Airlines and recently launched "Undercover Princes" and "Sorority Girls."
