'My Gay Roommate' Wraps Season Three

This Season Of One Of Our Favorite Queer Web Series Is Coming To A Close

One of our favorite queer web series is wrapping up its third season in the gayest way possible.

It was a banner year for "My Gay Roommate," as it surpassed 3,000,000 views and successfully executed one of the most nuanced and playful story-lines we've seen in a queer web series.

In its first season, "My Gay Roommate" followed Nick, played by Noam Ash, during his freshman year of college, and his straight roommate, James, through defining moments such as Nick his virginity and exploring the world of Grindr. The second season involved Nick's time at home for the summer, while the third season followed Nick after he decided to take some time off from school and find a new roommate in NYC.

"Nick and Ed aren't coping well with Jack's (the Cowboy) departure, and the Monster takes drastic action to set them on the right course. But will he succeed? At a crossroads in their relationship, the boys have to decide what's to become of their friendship after the crazy year they've spent together. Climaxed with an original song by lyrcist-composer team Carner & Gregor, the season ends in a flourish of love, friendship and ecstatic gayness."

We're going to miss "My Gay Roommate," but we're sure this isn't the last we'll see from creators Noam Ash and Austin Bening. Check out the (very gay) finale above!
