My new cookbook SAFFRON SOUL & summer drinks recipes!

Isn't it the best feeling to be wearing sandals and skirts and sunnies! London literally comes to life when the sky is bursting with sunshine. And to celebrate, I have a rocking orange smoothie with a slight kick of chai spices - here's the video which I filmed at Raw Press, and below is another awesome recipe.

So it's been just over a month since I launched my cookbook Saffron Soul (the first print run sold out immediately! and we’ve just had the second stock arrive). I can't tell you how excited I get every time I read an article about the book, or see a post or pic of dishes you've made from my book. So, for summer, I’ve made another delicious smoothie recipe which I’m super excited to share. It’s a spicy turmeric and honey paste which you simply need to stir into any cold milk of your choice, add some ice, and sip away!

Simply stir together the following ingredients and keep in the fridge in an airtight container. Stir 2 teaspoons into a glass of milk and add ice. It should stay good for a couple of weeks!

2 teaspoons turmeric powder

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 inch chunk fresh ginger, grated

4 tablespoons honey

1/2 teaspoon black pepper
