Not since James Watt has there been a political figure so loved by the "right" -- and so reviled by the "left."

A few weeks ago I created http://www.mypresidentpalin.com.

Why?

At the time everyone was talking about the risk of "President" Palin and today they still are. But will it matter on November 4?

The last controversial VP pick was Dan Quayle. Lee Atwater, George Herbert Walker Bush's Campaign Manager, said in a post election interview, November 1988: "...the Democrats spent a lot of time, a lot of effort and a lot of money trying to make Dan Quayle the driving issue in this campaign and I think they wasted time, effort, and money."

While we may waste time talking about "President" Palin, I don't think we will waste money. In fact I think Sarah Palin is a fundraising lightning rod for the Democrats and post-November she will remain one for the progressive community.

Not since James Watt has there been a political figure so loved by the "right" -- and so reviled by the "left."

For those who don't remember Watt, Ronald Reagan appointed him Secretary of the Interior in 1981. Watt may be best remembered for the following: describing his staff as "a black, a woman, two Jews and a cripple;" and for telling Americans we didn't need to worry about the environment because "the rapture was imminent."

The environmental community zeroed in on Watt like a laser. He helped them raise millions of dollars and recruit hundreds of thousands of new members.

So if history is our guide Sarah Palin will not be remember for channeling George Bush -- but as a fundraising gold mine for the Obama-Biden ticket, and future progressive causes.

So each time you get that sick feeling that Sarah Palin might become President, make it go away by donating to the Obama campaign. You can also go to my site http://www.mypresidentpalin.com and watch more "President" Palin videos and then click on the "Send Money to Obama" link. Share the videos with friends and ask them to give to Obama too. And don't forget to check back regularly as we will be adding new videos as Election Day approaches.
