It looks like next month is going to be jam packed with red carpets. Not only do we have the Oscars and the Grammys to look forward to, the NAACP Image Awards are being held on February 1. And this year’s nominee list features quite a few Latinos.

Music seemed the be category most populated with Hispanic talent. Both Bruno Mars (who’s part Puerto Rican) and Miguel (who’s of Mexican descent) got honored with multiple nominations. They’ll going head-to-head in the Best Male Artist and Best Music Video categories. OMG Girl Bahja Rodriguez also get recognized as a Best New Artist nominee.

On the acting side, Tatyana Ali (who proudly declares herself to be Afro-Panamanian) scored two TV nominations, one for her work in the sitcom "Love That Girl" and another for "The Young and the Restless." Daytime star Erik Valdez also picked up a nod for his work on "General Hospital."

And the Cuban-flavored "Chico & Rita" movie picked up nominations for Best Independent Film and Best International Film. We’ll keep you posted on who wins what after Friday’s ceremony. Click here for the full list of nominees.
