Naomi Watts Says Blondes Wearing Red Look A 'Little Bit Porno' (PHOTOS)

She's given this serious thought.

There's no denying that certain colors are more flattering on women than others, especially when you take into consideration skin tone and hair color. But does that mean you should absolutely steer clear of a particular shade? Apparently, Naomi Watts is anti-red.

In a recent interview with People magazine, the 44-year-old actress revealed the reason she won't wear the ravishing hue. “I just never think blondes look good in red,” said Watts. "Blondes plus red, to me, looks a little bit porno, and I’ve never felt quite right.”

Say what?!

While we certainly gravitate towards the same colors while shopping that we know flatter us most, we respectfully disagree with Watt's blondes-and-red-don't-mix stance. In fact, she looked rather stunning in a strapless blood-red Zac Posen gown at the 11th Annual Visual Effects Society Awards. (Though she argues it wasn't "fire engine red" but boasted a "busy print.")

What about America's sweetheart, Taylor Swift? When she's not wearing virginal white, the country singer loves to slip into a red dress that accentuates her blonde locks (and Tay Tay is far from porn star territory), Kate Hudson's cleavage-baring red gown at the 2012 amfAR Inspiration Gala is also proof that blondes can sport the shade in a sexy, yet sophisticated way.

What do you think about Naomi Watt's views on blondes wearing red? Do you agree or disagree? Sound off in the comments section.

These blonde-haired stars seem to wear the shade well:
