They might have to dim the lights at the Grand Ole Opry. E! Online reports that "Nashville" is going to kill off a major character sometime this season.

This isn't the first time death has come to "Nashville." Last season ended with Juliette's (Hayden Panetterie) mother being killed in a murder-suicide, and a car accident that almost claimed the life of Rayna James, played by Connie Britton.

Fans have been vocal about their annoyance with certain plotlines on the show, maybe the death of a character would actually benefit the series.
