In 2009 Nashville youth from the Oasis Center took to the streets of historic Jefferson Street Baptist Church to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King and the inauguration of Barack Obama. The youth reveled in interviewing those who actually knew and marched with Dr. King when they were young themselves.

This 5 minute clip captures the excitement and hope of youth across the nation and around the world and features one of Nashville's most revered songwriters Don Henry and his moving tribute to MLK: "Beautiful Fool".

Happy MLK Day.
