Nathan Lane Joins 'The Good Wife'

The "Good" casting news keeps on coming, CBS has announced Nathan Lane will appear in "The Good Wife" Season 4.

Lane will have a recurring role as a "bottom line-obsessed manager imposed on Lockhart & Gardner by the bank to cut costs and get the firm back to fiscal health." Look for him to clash with Will (Josh Charles) and Diane (Christine Baranski). Lane joins "GCB" veteran Kristin Chenoweth and "ER" star Maura Tierney as new recurring cast members. Chenoweth will make her debut in the Season 4 premiere as a political reporter who digs into Peter's (Chris Noth) gubernatorial campaign and marriage to Alicia (Julianna Margulies). Tierney will play Maddie, a billionaire who may support Peter's campaign.

Meanwhile, British TV star Marc Warren will play Nick, Kalinda's estranged husband.

CBS announced Lane's casting on Twitter. He'll make his first appearance in the season premiere.
