In honor of National Cheeseburger Day (which, if you don't know, lands on Sept. 18), we got to thinking about how great these dairy-topped patties are. But what it is about them that makes them so great? Is it just the cheese? If so, what kind of cheese? Is it the fact that they often come with bacon? We decided to get some answers.
HuffPost/YouGov polled 1,000 folks on what they thought about cheeseburgers and we learned some things. Before you go off and throw down a couple of cheeseburgers in honor of what is possibly the greatest food holiday out there, take a look at what we found. We put it all together into an easy-to-read infographic for you.

Most surveys report a margin of error that represents some, but not all, potential survey errors. YouGov's reports include a model-based margin of error, which rests on a specific set of statistical assumptions about the selected sample, rather than the standard methodology for random probability sampling. If these assumptions are wrong, the model-based margin of error may also be inaccurate. Click here for a more detailed explanation of the model-based margin of error.
