It's National Napping Day! Where's The Funniest Place You've Taken A Snooze? (SUBMIT YOUR OWN)

Feeling sleepy after losing an hour this weekend? You're in luck! Today marks the 13th celebration of National Napping Day, an unofficial holiday meant to inspire us all to pay just a little bit more attention to the importance of good sleep.

In 1999, Boston University professor William Anthony, Ph.D., and his wife, Camille Anthony, created National Napping Day in an effort to spotlight the health benefits of catching up on quality zzz's, like improved performance and mood. "We chose this particular Monday because Americans are more 'nap-ready' than usual after losing an hour of sleep to daylight saving time," Anthony said in a statement.

Last year, a Tempur-Pedic survey found that 59 percent of Americans have fallen asleep in "inappropriate" places, like bathroom stalls, graveyards, elevators and even during military combat.

To help celebrate the day, Tempur-Pedic, Shape.com and other outlets are asking you to share your strange napping stories. We asked our Twitter followers to send us the funniest places they've ever taken a snooze. Click through some of our favorite responses and add your own #nappingday story below!
