
Neil Gaiman has professed himself nervous about his latest book, The Ocean at the End of the Lane. It's a magical tale, filled with horror and imagination, with a seven-year-old narrator. His first adult novel since 2005, it began as a short story, and then developed following an inspiring run in Florida. A movie is already in the works.
We like it very, very much, but you'll have to wait until June for when it hits stores. To tide you over (pun intended), Gaiman has recorded this very sweet message about how it came about:
