It's almost time for Nevada to head to the polls.

Find what you need to know below to vote in Nevada on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.

The Nevada polls closing time is 7 p.m. Pacific Time. That's later than many other states so you have time to cast your ballot.

The Nevada polls opening time is 7 a.m. local time. That's also later than many other states so Nevadans won't have the option to vote super early on Election Day.

But that's only if you haven't voted yet. The Washington Post reports that a record-high number of people in Nevada have taken advantage of early voting, some 700,000 of one million, which is the expected voter turnout for the state.

Not sure where to vote? The Nevada's Secretary of State website can help you out.

There are six electoral votes in play in Nevada for the presidential race. In 2008, Barack Obama captured the Silver State with 55.1 percent of the vote. See our election map here.
