This Will Make You Never Want To Check A Bag Again

Airlines really are the worst.

The number one reason people hate airlines isn't due to flight delays or inconsistent pricing. According to Catey Hill of Consumer Report's MarketWatch, customers' biggest gripe concerns lost luggage -- and for good reason.

"The airlines lose 24 million bags a year," Hill told HuffPost Live on Wednesday. "Sometimes they're permanently lost, sometimes they're just delayed. But no wonder it's a huge complaint."

What airlines have received the most flack from irritated customers? Hill said Spirit and Frontier get the most "complaints per boarding," likely a result of charging additional fees for checking bags.

"A lot of it is people are mad," she explained. "They have to pay a fee for something, and that starts them off all angry."
