The Apple Watch can now be yours for as little as $299.
Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed the $50 price decrease at the company's keynote address Monday in Cupertino, California. He also showed off a variety of new bands for the wearable device, including a woven nylon material that will be available in a variety of bold colors.
Analysts believe 2016 could be a big year for wearable devices, with sales projected to rise 38.2 percent, to 110 million units, by the end of the year. Of that, Apple's share is expected to be around 14 million watches, up from the 11.6 million watches it shipped in 2015.
